This has nothing to do with gender or equality this is just an acknowledgment of the great impact that female blues singers made to the whole music industry. These women are not just talented but they are also very amazing and inspirational especially to those budding blues artists or musicians.

Fondly called Lady Day, Billie Holiday was a very popular American Jazz artist and songwriter. She is also known not just in the world of Jazz but Blues as well.
She passed away at a very young age of 44 but her music and her influence among most Jazz and Blues singers and talents live on until now.
